Big Green Egg & Chef Lesson

The Big Green Egg Chef Experience comes with your very own Large Big Green Egg as well as a 2-hour Big Green Egg instructional class hosted and taught by three of Atlanta's top chefs. All food and beverage will be provided, along with beer from the local brewery Second Self. Up to ten people may participate with the winning bidder in the experience.

About the Chefs-

Chef Thomas McKeown, Executive Chef of the Hyatt Regency Atlanta

"Armed with a wealth of international culinary experience, Chef Thomas McKeown joined Hyatt Regency Atlanta as Executive Chef. Before his current role overseeing the property's dining experiences, Polaris, Sway, Twenty-Two Storys and Market, as well as its in-room dining, special events and banquet operations, Chef McKeown served as Executive Chef at Grand Hyatt Atlanta for five years. Born and trained in Europe, Chef McKeown began his culinary career at the prominent Limerick Golf Club in Ireland. He completed his culinary training on both sides of the Atlantic at the Limerick Institute of Technology in Ireland and Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, where he earned a Master's degree in Food Service Education. Following his studies, Chef McKeown refined his knowledge of contemporary American cuisine as Sous Chef at the exclusive Somerset Club in Boston and moved on to become Executive Chef at the Ellis Hotel in downtown Atlanta, where he concentrated on local sustainable cuisine. Chef McKeown is a member of Hyatt's Sustainable and Responsible Eating Team, a Corp. initiative which promotes serving local, healthy and responsibly raised ingredients in all Hyatt dining experiences. In 2013, Chef McKeown was awarded "Executive Chef of the Year" by Hyatt Hotels. "

Butcher and Chef Rusty Bowers, Owner of Pine Street Market Quality Meats

"In great company in Culinary Local's Top 100 Atlanta Chefs, Owner of Pine Street Market, Rusty Bowers, stands out as a butcher and food crafter among creative and talented chefs. Rusty Bowers owns and operates a whole animal butchery shop located in the Avondale area of Atlanta. It started about 10 years ago as a whole sale butchery shop with just Rusty, but it now includes a retail store, online store and classes, with five full-time butchers and a retail and delivery staff. He grew up cooking in Jacksonville, Florida, before moving all over the country and the world, along the way picking up different butchering techniques and a love of community raised meat. Rusty is also the co-host and co-creator of Smoke and Glory, a Chef Thunder Dome style tournament in the area."

Let's just say, he knows a thing or two about pickles. Nick's goal with Doux South was to educate folks about the great Southern tradition of pickling and all the ways that pickles could be used by the chef at home."

The property is gated with code access only and is 0.2 miles away from park access with a walking trail.

A cleaning fee of $300 is to be paid by the winning bidder. Blackout dates include the week of July 4th and July 17-24, 2021. To book, Rally will put the winning bidder in contact with the homeowner.

Home purchased in August 2018 (we have owned and rented another property vrbo #268693 for 10 years- see listing & reviews so you can read how we have always tried to be the best hosts of our guests) and we have completely updated this home with all new kitchen & kitchen appliances, bathrooms, furniture, etc. Everything is brand new! This home is immaculate!

- 4-Person golf cart is available for guests to use. This will make your vacation perfect!

- Great location- only 125 yards to beach. Beautifully decorated home in the highly desired community of Wild Dunes. Home is set up to allow for the perfect vacation whether your group is all adults or families! We also have a beach wagon to carry all your beach things.

- Home is centrally located and only a very short walk to all the activities of the Wild Dunes Pavilion, tennis center, golf, etc. Our home is located in a quaint cul-de-sac that is perfect for playing, riding bikes, etc.

- Enjoy the screened-in back porch that overlooks the backyard and fire pit (gas powered) for relaxing in the evenings (Weber grill provided).

- Rock on the front porch that overlooks the quiet cul-de-sac, and enjoy the flex space in the expansive 3-car garage and back driveway.

Bedrooms:

All bedrooms are equipped with high quality linens and all the comforts of home- Smart TV in each room, bedside tables, dressers, lamps,, etc. Master bedroom is located on main floor with a king bed and handicap accessible shower. There is also another half bath on the main level. The 4 other bedrooms are upstairs with the following beds: 2 rooms with king beds, 1 room with queen bed and the last room has 2 twin beds. A pack'n'play and booster chair are also available.

Kitchen & dining:

Kitchen is totally redone w new cabinets, all new appliances and is equipped with all the cookware & dining ware needed for the most elaborate meals. The 8 foot x 5 foot island is perfect for preparing a feast or just for everyone to congregate. Dining room table seats 8.

Located just a 20 minute drive from historic Charleston, there are countless sites to see, places to shop, and great dining. Within 5 miles there are over 15 restaurants, 7 golf courses, 3 marinas and several parks. If you don't feel like leaving Wild Dunes, there are daily activities for both children and adults: Wild Dunes Resort is known for its two championship resort golf courses, its beautiful beaches, great tennis, and laid back lifestyle. Wild Dunes is a gated community with 24 hr. security patrol.
